Ann-Marie's jerk sauce is not just for seasoning meats. Here is another great way to use it to make a quick and easy vinaigrette for a salad!
Directions:
Salad
- Peel and cut a large kohlrabi into sticks (you decide how thick you want to sticks to be)
- Wash a medium-large size gala apple and cut it into sticks (you decide how thick you want to sticks to be)
- Peel and thinly slice 1/4 of a red onion on the bias ("on the bias" means slice following the grain)
- Place all the above into a bowl and add an amount of vinaigrette to your preference (vinaigrette recipe below)
- Sprinkle pumpkin seeds on top (optional), after platting
Vinaigrette
In a jar add:
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. Ann-Marie's Jamaican Jerk Sauce
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. honey
- Pinch of black pepper
- Place lid on jar and shake well
